Hello,
I have a bermuda lawn that is extremely thin, it was filled with crab grass and other weeds but I put down an application of 2-4D, Celsius and Quinclorac so many of the weeds have died but now the grass is very thin. I was wondering if I could overseed with a La Prima Bermuda seed which is fast germinating( about 3-5 days). I know that the grass will not be completely dense or filled in by the time a frost comes but what would happen if I overseeded now, would the seedlings just die over the winter or would roots survive and then just regrow in the spring like the established grass? This would give me a head start over the weeds in May. The bermuda mixture is Royal Bengal and Mirage 2 so its suppose to be more cold tolerate. Please advice and give your experiences/thoughts/suggestions.
Thank you
