My little wonder blower, honda gx270 motor wont start, cleaned the carb, changed spark plug and oil, nothing, the past few days it has been real hard to start, when it did start their was a loud squeak coming from muffler, also the other day I ran it for a few hours, shut it down, when to start it and it had gas fumes coming from the muffler, now it wont start at all, on some pulls it sounds as if she wants to go, but then dies right down. Any ideas please

There could only be four things wrong with a Honda. First, make sure the choke is off and the fuel is on. I am not being a smart aleck here, but if a Honda wont start, it is usually due to operator error. Second, I would make sure there is enough oil in the crankcase. They have a low oil shutdown sensor to prevent engine damage. Third, check to make sure that nothing got stuck in the fuel line. Sometimes a thistle or pine needle will get in there just perfectly and plug it up. Fourth, check to make sure that the valve cover is not dented in. The engine will not start if the valves are pushed in. If this happened you should replace it but you could take it off and push the dent back out. That's all I can come up with (other than no fuel). Anyone else? Hope this helps.
