Has anyone actually operated one of these machines? I just got back from Bauma in Munich and spend quite a while checking these things over. They are impressive machines in person, lots of capability in a machine with a pretty small footprint. I looked mostly at the 8MCR and 7MWR. I run a Steelwrist tiltrotator on a 48z JCB at the moment but will be getting a new machine in a bit over a year and was wondering if anyone has ran one. I love my JCB but have been renting machines often to move material and the Mecalac seems like a decent solution for doing the same thing, even more so with the wheeled version. Thanks!

they had a pretty impressive show at bauma, they seem to make machines that are unlike any others, loaders are different, excavators are different, they seem to make what they think is going to work vs just following the standard route. It's pretty cool you can order different boom configurations on the same machine depending on your use. They have high hp for their size, 75hp in a 6 ton machine, and they just came out with a quick change that will allow hands free hyd attachment hookups, I know companies that make that for larger machines, and it's creeping down to the smaller ones, but theirs is a bit different, and super simple. I can't wait to check them out at Conexpo

My job just rented one for 4 months with a brush hog attachment to clear the guard rails along the highway. Pretty cool machine but seems like to much goin that could break (like the pivoting boom) we have the 6MCR. I'll try an update if we have any issues. Are guys are hard on equipment

We're demoing one now. I've been watching this machine for a few years now. We love it so far. It's a 6MCR with counterweight.

Looks good, I had read about them being tippy, I'm sure the counterweight helps. What does the machine weigh with counterweight? Does it seem gimmicky or does it do everything just fine. The build quality on the ones I saw looked great, they were stout and the boom allows them to get pretty small for transport and tight spots
