well its not that old but I got a 1995 snapper walkbehind, that gets used everyday.

 

I know that this is a very old thread but I have to comment on this. I did not know that redmax was around that long ago I thought they use to be knowen as green machienes, but this just goes to show you how long a redmax will last

Forsure I got one from a relative that was made in 1985 in 2003 and I used it as a regurlar mower on 3 accounts for 3 years then as a spare for one until I got my ferris

I picked up an Echo off Criagslist thats like that...probably from the 80s but works GREAT! They just don't make this stuff like they used to!

 

I've got an early 90's Toro push mower that always starts right up and runs good. Self propelling is getting a little weak on it but if I ever put the mower into full service instead of a backup I really don't think I would have a problem re-doing a little on the drive system because other than that its a solid machine. I need to get some gas trimmers. Just don't do a ton of trimming to justify a set.
