One or two wheel velke?

I have a 36" Toro on the way but I have to get my own Velke/sulky thing.

I figure two wheels so I don't have a middle line and to distribute weight but I've never used these things before. It also wants me to specify 16" or 18" rocker arm.

I'm looking at this and would like some recommendations because I've heard about certain velke's breaking down ofter etc. If this isn't a good one could someone tell where I can buy online and get shipped to canada?

I've used both, and each has a single drawback. If you're on the beefy side and habitually put most of your weight on one leg, like I do on a long straight run, the nylon bushing wears out and you have a wobbly platform. When I put my 2nd machine on the road I opted for the 2-wheel job, and soon found out, when I began running into stuff, that it tracks inside the single-wheel version. Overall, though, I prefer the single-wheel variety.

Any difference in comfort between the two lengths? or has it just to do with having long arms.
It has to do with how the handlebars are positioned- I have the 18" bar on my Velke Pro 1, if I had the 15", the handlebars would hit me in the hip every time I made a zero turn.

Personally, I'd go with a Velke Pro 1 (singe wheel), I love mine and would highly recommend it!

Take a look at the two that Trimmer Trap has. I have the Bull Rider wheels from Trimmer trap and I like them. They are a caster sulky, but they also make a traditional 2 wheel sulky that is built like a tank. The bar length on both is adjustable. They make very good quality products. www.trimmertrap.com Jungle Jim also makes a descent 2 wheel sulky.

I hated the single wheel sulky. the double was fine and is great if traveling long distances of asphalt or cement. but I prefer the proslide over both. only draw back of the proslide is the replacement of wear plates. but only cost 40 bucks shipped and last a bit more than a year.
