1999,
The label will direct you to NOT apply these types of herbicides through any type of hose end sprayer. The problem is the pressure and drift caused by these types of applicator's.
Not only is the Weed-B-Gone corrosive to these cheap things, it is the fact of inaccurate mixing that is concerning. Even if you reduce the pressure at the faucet, the correct amount of mixture is impeded. If you should use one anyway, then use the diverting tip that comes with the unit. Make sure there is no wind at all and stay close to the ground. Lastly, what kind of sticking agent are you planning on mixing with this product of choice.?????
As far as the time of application and the amount per site, it is stated on the label. Typically, it may state that 2-4D material can only be applied to a site twice as a blanket spray and multiple times for spot spraying as long as you do not exceed XX amount of ounces per acre.
Keep in mind the drift...............the overspray that will float off to you or your neighbor's plants and trees............!!!!!!
