Has anyone rented or bought the powerhouse pro prowler from home depot? It's the mini skid steer loader similar to the dingo. Any info would be appreciated.

Be careful when buying from HD. I believe that if you do to try to save a few bucks, when the warranty work is needed, the local dealer will turn you away. I think that HD will send you to an authorized repair center. That could end up being several hundred miles away from you. To me, it is not worth the savings.

Mark is correct... HD does not service their new or used equipment. The repair facilities are normally local service shops. Here the service center is my regular dealer... so that works out good for us. Their store is 10 miles from this HD. Other area HD's have other local (regional) repair facilities.
I did have one of these repair facilities "misplace" one of my toro mowers one time, but HD replaced it with a new one.

Why isn't it listed on their website?

Thanks for the advice. I do think Home Depot does stand by their products.
I won't say Home Depot doesn't stand behind their sales, but they have no shop for warranty service. You'd have to find another dealer, and they certainly are in NO hurry to help you.

Good intentions are great. The ability to follow through on those good intentions is crucial to making good on good intentions. That's just the way it is. I've purchased major equipment for regular use from Home Depot. Never again. If it's rakes and shovels, great. Otherwise, no way.

Home Depot will send you to an authorized dealer, unless they have one close by, you are in for a two to three week wait possible.
I work at a HD, I have seen pics of the product and it looks ok.
But like any equipment you would be much better off if you bought a
product from someone who can handle any warranty, parts or repairs problems close by.
We have a family rental business and we are all Bobcat for the most part.
The MT55 is one well built, easy to service and strong machine that will
be well supported by your local dealer. I dont have any exposure to other
brands, but I know the Melroe/Bobcat is worth the money.
Just my 2 cents worth.
