My machine is a 3 year old Hustler Fastrak, 60" with a Kawasaki 730.
Been pulling maintenance on the beast (swapped blades, oil, filter, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, greased 6 points, etc.) and I am about to change the 2 transmission's oil and filters.
A couple of questions as the service manual is not clear to me.
1. Which position is closed vs. open on the bypass valve rods? They are pulled out now. Assume that is closed position?
2. During the purging air process do the reservoir caps need to be removed to allow air to escape?
Anything else I should take a look at? Belts seem to be good.
