I used 5 1/2 pallets of Screeming Green on a portion of my acts for 4th service and the lawns that I applied it on are looking very good now.
Even the 3 application only acts I do with no sprinkler or water are nice and green now after finaly getting some rain recently.
This one small act, one of my customers with 3 apps only & a one of my new secret test lawns that burns out each year ( very large old leach field) and had gotten damaged in late September from mowing when hot and dry bounced back very fast after a little rain recently. SG app was done on Sept 12.

I Applied had applied SG at 13-14,000 sqft per 50 lb bag for all apps.
I Had Not one issue with clogs or flow applying the SG product even on a few damp or humid days.
I did get one pallet of the 5 1/2 that was a little bit dusty thought. If they could make the product with almost no dust it would be even better.

I had applied SG on my lawn just over 2 weeks ago as a Final fert app and it is looking Great. I Cut it yesterday.

Thumbs Up

It has 5 nitrogen sources and many microbes that liven up the soil to turn synthetic fertilizers into turf food. Microbes break down synthetic fertilizers so the plants can absorb nutrients.
SG Also has 1% iron and some calcium.
It's a Milorganite fertilizer on steroids.Thumbs Up
Need 3 bags of Milorganite to equal same amount of nitrogen content in one bag of screaming green.
Here is the label.

The ingredient that has not been mentioned is composted poultry manure from egg laying hens. This fills the gap between the 3 synthetic N sources and the bio-solids. It's the compost that is teaming with microbes that drive the nutrient cycling and makes Screamin Green the only Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer with organic matter.

I was just at the test plot act I do 3 apps on a year only and posted the picture Monday of it above. Since it hasn't rained a drop all week and been dry I wanted to see how it is doing.

It is pretty amazing how great the lawn looks, deep green and lush now considering the lower rate of screaming green that was applied about 5 weeks ago.
Not a drop of water has been applied from a sprinkler or irrigation system all year or in last week. Only has been getting some moisture from dew.

Any complaints on dust? I’ve heard that is the biggest screaming green complaint.

I will try some next year if I’m able to pick some up. My problem is I can afford to use it based off N needs but my soils need K as well. So tough to work a double app of screaming green and SOP.

I have been able to get custom blends that meet my need for macro and organic filler.

There was some dust and one pallet had a little more.

I can see dust being a bigger issue in a spyker type hopper with a spinning agitaor grinding up the Organic materials. If Not using the pin agitaor in the spyker type hopper the SG probably will flow through the gate properly.
I used Lesco push spreaders and Permagreen Triumphs to apply the 5 1/2 pallets and breakthru Agitators are in all the hoppers. They are definitely more gentle on materals creating less dust then a spinning grinding agitaor.

The lawn act that I posted pictures of only had two other applications of fertilizer during the season of about 3/4 lb N per 1,000 sqft.
The landscaper who mows the lawn the never bags the clipping. I am assuming the organics in SG are helping break down many of the clipping from the year into nitrogen now making the lawn so green and extremely thick.

No need to pay for the name. We used to buy truckloads of sg from slowdog, thinking $16-18 a bag was the range. We have different suppliers making the same thing for way less. Our lawns look as good as ever. Its the materials that matter, not the name on the bag.

Well not everyone on lawnsite uses truck loads per service. I use on avg 8-10 pallets of Materials a round and pick up from site one supply and another not so local supplier for bio solid fert.
In these parts there have not been many cost effective Organic choices at the suppliers around here untill recently with a kick to them unless you mixed on your own.
For now SG will be a bigger part of my program's. Is better then what I was able to get for many years since it is what I call a hybrid fert.
The SG 16-2-3 equals the results of 28-5-12 but with a 1/3 less N and is much better for the soils.

Keep us posted on the results. I agree on the availability of screaming green. I can only get from supplies I currently do zero business with.

I was quoted 19.50-20 per bag which puts me out of the price range when only applying 3-4 apps of Fert per year. However if guys continue to post solid real world results it may work out. Especially if I can go out with 1/4-1/3 less N?

Yes you can apply 1/4-1/3 less nitrogen per 1k per app because less N is lost to leaching and into the air. The microbes that are in SG prevent less loss of N by turning more N into available nutrients the Turf plants can absorb.
If a soil is deficient in microbes, you need to apply even more synthetic N to get same results but more leaches and is released into the air. It is the microbes that turn N and turn into Plant food.

I am doing some side by side acts test on last service with applying high cal lime and SG mixed on site and lesco Cal 13-0-6 apps.
If I see good results in spring with SG & high cal apps I will ask SG to make a a similar high cal SG mix fert as lesco 13-0-6.
