Don't take this the wrong way, but how are they not cutting good? What blades are you using? Did you keep the factory angle?

Also, your ground speed and blade tip speed play a huge role in QOC too, as well as cut height, blade spacing in deck, type of grass, etc.....

45 minutes long webinar ? Really ? Flow charts and diagrams ? Really ? The info you really want to cover could be done it 10 minutes, using real blades not diagrams. Get your sales team to come up with something better with real video of grinding and balancing. Then put it on YouTube.

You do have a sales team, right ?

 

Nothing against magnamatic- awesome product, but it needs to be broken down into Cliff notes- single serving bits- maybe one quick overview and put the bean counter, flow chart soirée in another short, concise video. Society has ADHD and little perceived time. Accept it, embrace it, and work with it, not against it. We want to see it working. We want a sharpening and balancing drag race between a guy like me with a grinder and your equipment.

I'm a solo operator, with a full time (sales) job on top of my 20+ accounts, and more importantly, a family. If I'm watching something for 45 minutes, it's a kids activity, movie with my girls, etc- not a long, drawn out pitch on something that cost 10x + what my grinder and flappy disc cost, and takes up valuable table space on my shop.

I got 99 problems, and dull blades ain't one.

 

the mower will Not cut all the grass blades completely. The owner before me put exmark blades on it...i don't know if that may change it. When sharpening i kept the correct angle and got rid of any burrs on the backside of the blade and I go slow and it will still cut badly.

 

Are they upside down? U got the spacer installed under spindle? Is blade tight or free spinning under deck? If I have two lines then your blades are wrong not overlapping grass

 

How many spacers are between the spindles and blade? Is your deck set up correct- pitched 1/4-3/8" lower in front? Sounds like you may have a low or medium lift blade too.

I like running the Oregon G5 blades. Hardly any stringers, even in spring growth.

 

The Spacer is below the the blade. I can move the blades by hand but it's not the easiest.

 

The spacers need to be BETWEEN the blade and deck, not below the blade. I believe that Scag recommends 3 spacers between the blades and deck for best QOC. At least on mine they do.

Also, have you downloaded the manual (free)? Mine has a handy section for troubleshooting the cut.

 

If you can't move the blades that easily by hand you may have a spindle needing some love, too.
