Well my Snapper RER wont start
(3314420BVE with 14.5 ho Briggs and Stratton- Electric Start) when I put it away last time it was running fine
Typical story right?
Now its hot as hell in Florida and don’t want to do the lawn with my self propelled cordless push mower but will be forced to!
I tested the spark plug by grounded it out against the engine and looking for spark AND I DID NOT GET A SPARK!
Last year I disconnected the kill switch part of the ignition switch because it was not shutting off when I turned it off! There was a short in switch I ordered a switch but have not put it in because the Snapper was working and I could shut down by reducing the engine speed
So I don’t think thats playing a part in why it won’t start
What think is it is —is one of the safety switches in not working like it should
I was wondering if someone has a list of the safety switches on this model (I know there are alot)and could test them one by one
I think safety switch(es) might why I am not getting a spark!
Anyone with any suggestions would be helpful
