Sulfentrazone by itself below 3 way cost isn't going to do much to broad weeds. I'd use it as a kicker with 3 way. Or try Momentum 4-score from lesco, around .5/M to run.
Sulfentrazone works pretty good with temps in the 50s when most other herbicides really drop off in efficacy below 60 (that includes 24D). If you can get it cheaply it's a good option at 5oz/acre but I would have something else in the mix to help out. I have all warm season turf and have been using MSM .4 oz plus Sulfentrazone 5oz plus Coastal 60oz on all southern turf types and it looks very good. Sulfentrazone will be getting significantly cheaper as there are several new generic versions entering the market. Carfentrazone has no generic competitors so dont expect lower pricing anytime soon.
Early on I like to spike my 3 ways with carfentrazone. Sulfentrazone would be good in the early summer through about Sept to get some sedge knockdown. I’m cool season turf in Jersey.
