Truck tailgate or trailer gate?????

 

My fault, i mean truck tailgates. Thanks for catching that.

 

No Problem!!!! Is the rest of your truck lettered??? I have a dump body so left the tailgate bare because it takes a beating. If I was to do my pick-up though I would probably put my logo & phone number.

 

Here is mine in the works, Will add website address along bottom in the middle and Installation Maintenance and Snowplowing listed on the right side with the phone # under that.

 

Yes rest of truck is lettered on both doors, and front license plate. I was thinking of just company name, without the logo, phone number, and a list of services provided. I have an F250 so i have plenty of tailgate to fill. BTW the "logo" i use i guess is just a simple common tree logo. I didnt want anything fancy.

 

After a quick photoshop touchup, This is along the lines of what I want to do

 

Thats something like i want to do except for the website, since i do not have a domain name quite yet, possibly add that in the future. The main question is, logo or no logo. This is what i use on everything right now....

 

I like your logo, I'd do a set-up similar to KS that looks very good.

Matt, I think something like ksland has would look good with your logo. It will def. be good advertising, just make sure you don't cut anyone off in traffic though!

 

99 Percent of the time I have a trailer attached to my truck, so it would not be worthwhile paying to letter my tailgates as they would not be visible. If I were to feel a need to letter tailgates, I would letter it exactly as KSland did. That is a very professional job!

That is good advice. On my truck its probably 50/50 with pulling a trailer and not. So i feel its worth $75 to letter my tailgate.

 

We use magnetic signs for the tailgates of our trucks, easy on easy off. The printing company that did them for me measured the back of my truck to create the biggest possible sign, instead of using the standard door signs. The only drawback is some joker stealing your signs...

I like that sign on the trailer, I was wondering how I could get one on there without creating too much drag, and if I did would it stand out. Looks great!

Thanks. We have 4 of those 1972 Chevy C20s. They're great trucks.

 

I dont know if you have noticed the tailgates on the New Ford F250s or not, but i cant put anything at the very top, because the tailgate handle is right at the top. So its going to have to be on either side of it. Lots of good ideas i have seen, keep them coming.

 

I want a truck like that.......the C20 that is.....

We'll they're easy to find. Only they won't be in as nice condition as the ones you see there. They're old. So when you find them they usually need a decent amount of restoration work, paint, etc. But you can't beat a Chevy 350 Engine. They're rock solid and I like the body style on those too.

Sweet truck I have seen the pictures before but just wanted to let you know.Its almost to nice to work out of.What happens if it gets scratched or dented do you get it fixed right away?

Do you have one of those all fixed up just to drive around in or are they all for work?
