2.5 gallons of trimec 992 to 250 gallons of water. Sound about right? Midwest, (assortment of different weeds and grass types)
i am smart enough to read the label. your not smart enough to understand what im saying. if you have 250 gallons of water you can spray it in 1000 sq feet or you can spray it on 2 acres. its the amount of product per XXX not the gallons. i understand there is a min. gallons of water but his question was not that. From the label!Cool-grass turfgrass (except Bentgrass) listed in table 1: Mix 1.1 to 1.5 fl oz. of this product per one (1.0) gallon of water for treatment of approximately 1,000 sq ft of turfgrass.
When in doubt read the label.
OK! lets read the OP's statement together!i am smart enough to read the label. your not smart enough to understand what im saying. if you have 250 gallons of water you can spray it in 1000 sq feet or you can spray it on 2 acres. its the amount of product per XXX not the gallons. i understand there is a min. gallons of water but his question was not that.

I don't know, You might be. However, If I was your customer and I sent you an email and you did nothing I wrote because, you did not follow my directions. Then I would be looking for someone different. I don't know what the test to get a license is like in Georgia(which is a beautiful state), but in Illinois, You get a label so you can answer questions about the label. The label is not guidelines. It's what you use nothing more.you got me, im a hack.![]()
You are assuming alot about the OP spray equipment.... I have one sprayer that will cover 12.5 acres with 250 gallons of water and with my skid sprayer I spray 100,000 sq. ft. w/ 300 gallons and my lt rich will do 1 acre with 18 gallons, we need to know what his sprayers spray volume is to tell him if 2.5 gallons is the right amount for 250 gallons of water.OK! lets read the OP's statement together!

What that means is, The OP is going to pour 2.5 gallons of trimec into 250 gallons of water. 2.5 Gallons is 320Ounces. SO the Label says "1.1 to 1.5 Ounces per 1 Gallon of water will treat 1,000 sq ft. The Label tells you 1.1 ounces per 1 gallon of water will treat 1,000 sq ft. SO, if you break that down. that's 275 ounces per 250 gallons will treat 250,000 sq ft or 5.7 acres. Plus we all know that you walk 1,000 sq ft per minute. I mean come on. If the label says 1.1 to 1.5 fl oz/1,000 sq ft and he has a 250 gallon tank. It's pretty much simple math. The OP didn't ask what the Spray volume is? Which is .125 to 5.0 gallons/1,000 sq ft. Big difference. Get on the same page buddy No wonder this industry if full of hacks..
Wow, you are spraying heavy. You are assuming alot about the OP spray equipment....
