Some say they never leave a spool of trimmer line exposed to the sun's rays!
But then everyday I see LCO'S passing by with their spools mounted to the top rail of an open trailer, right there handy with a cutter.. is there real evidence that exposing it to the heat & sun weakens the line?
I just bought a spool of Vortex Desert Extrusion and I'd planned to keep it on a rod on the trailer rail.
Who can tell me they've really had problems with the line because of this? If it's really bad for it then I won't but I'd love some feedback.
