Couldn’t agree more, this is our 3rd season using acelepryn.

 

I'm wondering if there is some type of cumulative effect for acelepryn or if one year was just really bad for grubs.

A few years back we had several breakthroughs to the point we had to do some overseeding. Since then, we haven't had any.

Very happy with it and the bonus control of sod webworms is great.

 

Acelepryn will be much more affordable next season when it is off patent and goes generic.

 

Interesting...I've been using a different but similar product that was sold to me as the same AI as acelepryn but half the cost. I just looked it up and it isn't the same AI.

Guess my SiteOne guy was wrong. But it works. Or maybe it works better since I've had even fewer breakthroughs since I started with it.

 

Acelepryn does not breakdown from photodecomposition and the application window is much bigger than merit!

Remember Mach 2 insecticide? One of it's weaknesses was breakdown in sunlight.

 

I used a similiar product this season with good results so far, really like the ease of liquid, the low amount of AI per acre, more insects controlled, etc.. etc.. but I was told the patent for Acelepryn had ran out, that is why I was offered what I was, with a pretty good rebate

 

I'm seeing $1,150 per gallon - (roughly 3 acres of coverage)

 

I'm seeing 1,150 per 64 ounces (Todays price) and We go out at the 8 oz/Acre rate for White Grub Complex for the season long application.

That is 8 Acres per 1/2 gallon.

That's $3.30 per 1,000 sq. ft.

AND the stuff works, and is "Bee Safe"!
