Mixed up some 50:1 in a milk jug for tempory use the other day, now the jug seems weaker, is it ok to use the fuel still or is it eating away at the insides of the milk jug? Not a big deal I will probably throw it out just wondering.
No for having gas in the jug period. Its against the law, its stupid, and you are at a very high risk of causing alot of damage. You never over react when you are dealing with the EPA and GASOLINE. Should have gotten a gas can to begin with. If you want to be at risk like that then go ahead, wont hurt my feelings any, but you wont see me doing it.Originally posted by lawnman_scott
For throwing away a empty jug? He was going to get a gas can. Talk about over reacting.
I never said i didnt break laws, if i do i am prepared to suffer the actions if i get caught. But we arent talking about speeding, we are talking about a highly explosive material in a non approved container. If you want to risk it go right ahead, i could care less. But i dont want to hear about how im over reacting about my safety and the safety of others. Some things should not be played around with.Originally posted by dishboy

No but I bet you speed once in a while, even though it's"against the law, it's stupid, and you are at a very high risk of causing alot of damage".
So go ahead and tell me you never break any laws, or the one's you break are ok to and I'll dump out all my milk jugs and buy some canning jars.
yea, but by using a milk jug your recycling, that's good for the environment, right?Originally posted by Stihl036pro
WHy dont you just buy a gas can? there only 10 bucks,
It melts real fast. I took some gas out to the grill one day in a styrofom cup and before I went 5 foot it was all over the ground. I learned from that and used a plastic cup next time. Had to throw it away. Even the dishwasher wouldnt get the smell out!Originally posted by GrassFearsMe
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GAS MEETS STYROFOAM!
You kidding right. I have gas cans. Do I need to draw you a picture?Originally posted by Stihl036pro
