One of my fescue yards has about a 45 degree hill in the front yard. I have always used a pull behind water-filled aerator for it, but the owner has added another drive below to his basement off the road (so he has a drive on each side of the front yard). I have never tried the walk behind on a slope like that and was wondering what you thought or if it is possible to use. I just thought it is going to be a pain in the a$$ to unhook the pull behind after every pass, but I don't know if I will be able to control the walk behind on such a slope.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have done some side hill stuff, not sure quite as steep as that though. It wasn't easy to control but I was able to make a few passes and keep it out of the ditch. You will need to keep the heavy side on the high side when making your passes. On my Ryan if I keep the heavy side low the oil sensor will kick the engine off. I think that might be the real test if it is too steep or not, if you can keep the engine running. On the Ryan the engine is mounted to the right putting more weight on that side, that is what I mean by heavy side.
