Does anyone just bag them and put them at the customer's curb?

we pull a burn permit the day before and then burn them in a good spot on site. a big fire pit works or if they dont have one of them we always just burn them on top of the driveway to make clean up easy. it will leave the black soot on the drive so just use the blowers and a hose to clean it off. works great and we dont have to haul them away and the client doesnt have to look at them any more.

wow thats risky! i wouldnt suggest burning them. i use a leaf loader and have a box on the back of my 1 ton i can hual alot of leaves with it usually 2 properties worth then i haul them to a pit that i use in exchange for the compost the guy makes with my leaves. he has several landscapers dumping there. we will dump 40-50 loads in the pit and by the time spring rolls round that huge pile will fit in the back of a 1 ton. i would recommend pulling everything from the property it is much more professional looking as well as fire safe!

I bag them and leave them at the curb or compost them on site for those that have a spot.

When we started we had to pay a organic waste site to take them 5-10 dollars a yard now that seems high to some but the dumps her charge 50-95 dollars a ton. So that was out of the question but I got in good with the farm next door and have my own compost pile me and a horse farm have made a 200 foot long 25 foot tall by 75 foot wide pile in less then 6 years. hehehe you can even see it from space but thatÂ’s as much info as I'm gona give on that but it obviously saves me a ton of money we can produce 20-30 yards of grass clippings a week in fall the leaves can be that much per day.

I am fortunate and blessed to have the property that I maintain a brush pile on and burn once in a hile. I have a few different lco's that I know come and dump stuff now and then. I definitely have to burn pretty quick, though. I have a pile that is easily over 50 ft. across right now. I have the permit, it's just a matter of time to burn it.

we pay $100 per month to dump no limit. Last year we were in a hurry and didn't tell the lady it would be an extra $40 for leaves, she refused to pay saying her nephew wanted to do the leaves. We brought back a pickup load on a tarp and dumped it on her front yard. Probably cost more in labor than she owed, but without good stories this business wood suck!

IF I bag them, which for the most part I dont due to heavy mulching then I dump them at some property I own and burn once a year.

I've got a place behind my house that I can drive to and I have a clippings and leaves down there. Most brush though is taken to the local compost site. My pile is out in the middle of a field back in some trees so you cant see the pile and no one else dumps there. I have a path that leads from the road to there that I keep maintained. Someday I will have some good dirt that I can charge people to use.:)

Never have and never will bag debris!

We suck up leaves on all accounts except 2 local villages do it for free. Some ppl still pay us as they don't want the mess sitting there.

We have lots of land so we made a drive way, parking area and compost yard. We mix it all year long then let time take over. About every 5 years I sell a couple truck loads to a guy who screens it and makes topsoil. All brush and junk goes to burn pile. All fill goes to a recycling center that the city lets us dump at for free. Because we do so much work in there, they are great to local contractors.

I use the compost in my garden it takes half as much water to grow things. Plus we are donating some compost to help top dress a local football field.

I f you have the room compost it is fun and makes you a few extra bucks!
