Its a 2003 turf tiger with 61" advantage deck. Only has 770 hours on it. Owned by an individual with acreage never used commercially. He is wanting $4000 for it. It has a 25hp air cooled Kohler in it (CH730S). Well maintained and always shedded. I would be using it on my acreage as well not commercial use. Mostly buffalo grass and mowing off small pasture areas with some weeds. Just looking to get some general opinions on its value vs its hours and what I should check over on it if I decide to pursue it. THanks

Does the sn start with 8? One way to know for sure on the year.
That engine was used alot back then. Head gaskets leaking/blown due to overheating something to check out.
Besides that hydro, frame, etc is very close to 2015 units. Check for signs of it being greased, which shows it was taken care of. With that age of machine after purchase I'd either have the dealer check or yourself check all the bolts for tightness/wear. Change the gearbox fluid also.
