and whoever did the playground job.... i can't believe that you thought that the wall was far enough from the end of the slide.....
Did you ever think that maybe the wall was done and then the playground was put in afterwards?

I guess you missed the part too were it was basically done in the middle of the woods with minimal disturbance.

Maybe other people need too think before they type.:hammerhead:

In theory..the feeder roots are at the outer edges of the drip line..and beyond..that area has not been disturbed or suffocated. I'm not a skilled arborist..but being a maintenence guy for 20 years, I have seen what dies and what lives. By the book......the tree will die...In actuallity...air can flow through those stones...it's the heat (speaking from experiance) that will be the largest factor.

so i'll change my statement....

what idiot of a parent would put a slide that close to a wall????

Very nice!

The only thing I noticed - and this is very minor - was a small area in the corner by the plant that has the canna that's in bloom. In that rounded corner, it appears that the soldier course border is a tad lower than the patio it's bordering. So the eye picks up on that.

Still, overall that's very good work, IMO.

Thanks....I will take a closer look at it next time we are out, but everything is locked in place so it maybe hard to make adjustments....

Here is a chezzy border we did also....Trying to get rid of all my beginner blocks....this was the very last of this block I had....136 blocks I think....Not sure....I wasnt onsite when the works was done....It came out okay, but I really dont care for it to much thats why I am going to the custom curb'n.

More pics as promised....Here is the ring we did in the back lawn.....We had a few bricks left over from the front landscape beds border and just put them in the back. I know how you guys feel about the trees, but who cares...lol...j/k...Few more shots of the patio also. And yes I am watering newly installed Junipers.
