I was just given an Echo SRM2100--looks to have been lightly used by homeowner--primer bulb is gone, but it fires when fuel is added to sparkplug hole. There's been so many good things said about the SRM210, just wondered how they compared in durability and performance.

The 2400 was a great trimmer. The 2100 was good also, just not quite as much power. These are the old "Dirty" style engines that did not have any emmisions and had adjustable carbs.
Same size machine. Just an older model. Actually IMO the older four digit models were better, had more power because they didn't lean them down so much to meet emissions.
I would find the 210 or the 2100 a little under powered. I even think my 260 is under powered, LOL.
